Building Information Modelling (BIM)
Implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology will strengthen our collaborative way of working and deliver seamless integration between ESDP, design teams, contractors, subcontractors, stakeholders and customers.
Our goal is to enable whole team collaboration and facilitate interdisciplinary decision-making and full co-ordination of projects through all stages of design and construction. The key objective is reducing capital cost and the carbon burden from the construction and operation of the built environment.
ESDP have experience on a number of projects using BIM software for design collaboration, thermal analysis, energy use, lighting and daylighting performance and sustainable performance analysis. ESDP are currently using BIM on a range of projects, working collaboratively with clients, other designers, manufacturers and contractors.
ESDP utilize Revit 2017 (Autodesk) and have knowledge of various BIM packages and design software with BIM integration including ArchiCAD, Navisworks, IES VE, Dialux and Amtech. Engineers are competent with the use of software and have Autodesk approved training.
