ESDP make full use of a networked system of computer support facilities including Microsoft Small Business Server, Personal Computers, Printers, Large Format Plotters, Scanners, Photocopiers and Back-up Devices.
All ESDP employees use a project management software system on a daily bases enabling accurate time and expense management and monitoring on all projects. For further details refer to Quantim.
All CAD work is carried out using AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. This enables ESDP to provide high quality drawings and consistent presentation standards. For further details refer to Autodesk.
During 2011, ESDP also invested in Building Information Modelling (BIM) software and training to allow this collaborative and co-ordinated approach to design to be implemented on new projects. For more information on the BIM software (Revit), refer to Autodesk.
Energy modelling and thermal analysis of buildings is carried out on IES Virtual Environment or using Bentley Hevacomp software depending on the complexity and requirements of each project. For further details refer to Iesve and Bentley.
Electrical and mechanical calculations are carried out using Bentley Hevacomp software, as referred to above.
Lighting design and analysis is carried out on industry leading Dialux software. For further details refer to Dial.de
