| Project Description: |
Devon Studio School was established for teaching 14 to 19 year olds in GCSE and A-level subjects, alongside technical and vocational qualifications in health, social care and early years' paediatric nursing and health visiting. It is part of a new generation of state schools which have been created to help address the challenge of preparing young people for work. The new combined academic and vocational teaching within a modern learning environment helps students to learn and acquire key skills that will help them thrive when they leave education to start work. |

ESDP were employed to provide feasibility, concept, scheme and enhanced performance design and site monitoring of mechanical and electrical services through to completion, along with energy modelling, part L2A compliance, and BREEAM advice. |
| Design Features: |
The development is a careful fusion of new build and refurbished existing brick buildings which helped to regenerate an ageing group of unused buildings.
