| Project Description: |
Construction of a new extension to house three new cremators with mercury abatement equipment. Internal renovation and small extension to provide a staff canteen, book of remembrance room, offices, meeting room, entrance and stores.
The crematorium will remain in full operation for the duration of the project, so the work is being carried out over five phases.
A separate chapel building on the site is also being refurbished to bring this back into service. The cremator installation is being carried out as a separate contract. |

New incoming electrical supply to crematorium. Low energy lighting to all refurbished and new areas. Cremator system fitted with heat exchangers for connection to building heating system. |
